AI-first product management
Bringing AI agents into how I do product management at Nexcess. Skills and tools for the whole job, and a work brain that acts as my PA and my own small product team.
WHY
Product management is changing fast. I want to set the pace, not catch up.
DONE WHEN
I'm outpacing the team without AI slop. My time, updates and data work run with AI, and the thinking stays mine.
Scope
In
- Research
- PRDs
- Scoping discussions
- Reviewing Linear cards and projects
- Meeting notes
- UI and wireframes
- A work brain: past conversations, meeting details and decisions
Out, for now
- Financial details
- Live customer data, or anything personal about customers
- Anything else confidential to Nexcess
Approach
I'm building skills and tools for each part of the job, then joining them up into one work brain. It works as my PA and as my own product team. The thinking and the decisions stay mine. It all runs on the company's Claude Enterprise account, kept apart from my personal setup.

Work and personal: how do they stay apart? Work runs on the Enterprise account and my personal OS runs on its own machine. What, if anything, moves between them?
